Coronavirus: NYSE Temporarily Suspends Certain Shareholder Approval Requirements

On April 6, 2020, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission approved the immediate effectiveness of a rule change proposed by the New York Stock Exchange. This rule change facilitates raising capital, including from related parties or an existing investor, by partially waiving the NYSE's shareholder approval requirements through the end of June, subject to specified conditions.
