Legal Project Management in action

We helped our banking client to manage complex matters relating to US and local governmental regulatory investigations. The LPM team provided support with the high volume of data and language requirements involved, co-ordinating in-house, contract and Clifford Chance lawyers across multiple jurisdictions.

As a result, we were able to boost efficiency and free up associate and partner time to focus on legal work. Greater financial transparency was achieved through regular reporting of work in progress against budget. By acting as a central point of contact, the LPM team was also able to track billing and travel arrangements. This was key to managing costs effectively and addressing the complex lawyer immigration/visa issues that were an ongoing challenge in this multijurisdictional project.
