In this final video from our 2021 Tech Predictions series, we hear from Jonathan Kewley, partner and Co-head of our Tech Group and Dr. Carissa Véliz, best-selling author of the book ‘Privacy is Power’ who outline their predictions for the year ahead.

Carissa and Jonathan discuss predictions around data transparency, data privacy and data as a toxic asset; customer trust and user experience and new data laws and regulation. They also highlight a likely rise in tech audits in 2021 as well as potential for a worrying trend towards businesses trying to profit from the loosening of data rules, particularly in the UK.
