Clifford Chance advises Alter Domus on its strategic acquisition of Solvas

New York: Leading international law firm Clifford Chance has advised Alter Domus, a global provider of tech-enabled fund administration, debt capital markets, and corporate services, backed by private equity house Permira, on its acquisition of Solvas from Deloitte & Touche LLP (Deloitte).

Solvas, a US headquartered loan and debt servicing software platform and services suite developed over 20 years by Deloitte, serves asset managers and trustee participants in the collateralized loan obligation (CLO) markets internationally, and offers integrated accounting, modelling, and credit risk solutions. The acquisition of Solvas expands Alter Domus' footprint into India.

Alter Domus administers US$2 trillion in assets for 85 percent of the world’s top private debt managers, private equity firms and real estate houses.Clifford Chance has a long history of partnering with Alter Domus, notably advising the company in the United States on a series of strategic acquisitions. This includes in the technology sector and the acquisition of US-based Investors Economic Assurance.
