Changing times: Recent developments in the UK and EU securitisation regulatory frameworks

The UK and EU securitisation regulatory frameworks have been a hive of activity in July 2023. The European Commission has adopted final draft regulatory technical standards on risk retention, ESMA has published an updated set of questions and answers on the EU Securitisation Regulation, and, in the UK, HM Treasury has published a near-final version of the statutory instrument replacing the UK Securitisation Regulation.
