Clifford Chance appoints 5 Counsel in Luxembourg

Global law firm Clifford Chance announces the appointment of 5 Counsel in Luxembourg effective as of 1 May 2025. In total, Clifford Chance appointed 4 new Senior Counsel and 40 new Counsel across its European offices.

Antonio Arenas Torres, Global Financial Markets, Counsel

Antonio advises managers and issuers on a broad range of structured finance and debt capital markets transactions. He has extensive experience in complex transactions, including bespoke securitisations, capital relief, and significant risk transfer transactions, as well as related regulatory matters. Antonio is also experienced in debt capital markets, advising financial institutions, funds, and corporates on the registration of EMTN, ECP, and GMTN programmes, and the issuance of various products such as regulatory capital instruments, convertible bonds, ESG bonds, high-yield debt, mortgage bonds, and promissory note programmes.

Zoé Bofferding, Investment Funds, Counsel

Zoé's clientele includes global asset managers and international financial institutions. She specialises in structuring and launching both regulated and unregulated vehicles, with a particular focus on alternative asset classes and semi-liquid (retail) funds. She provides guidance to clients on key fund formation trends, financing operations, and structuring and restructuring solutions, including secondaries and fund liquidations.

Margaux Felix, Global Financial Markets, Counsel

Margaux advises lenders and borrowers in domestic and cross-border debt financing transactions, including acquisition finance, real estate finance and secured lending. Her practice focuses on advising funds, large international investment banks and Luxembourg banks in a range of fund financing transactions, from capital call facilities and GP/manager facilities to NAV and hybrid facilities.

Charlotte Reynders, Investment Funds, Counsel

Charlotte advises domestic and foreign clients on the structuring of investment vehicles, focusing on unregulated structures, with real estate, infrastructure, debt, and private equity strategies. She also advises global fund managers on the structuring of alternative investment fund products for retail and high-net-worth individuals worldwide. Additionally, Charlotte is closely involved in fund financing facilities and investor negotiations for development finance institutions.

Anne-Lise Vandevoir, Investment Funds, Counsel

Anne-Lise advises clients on legal, regulatory and organisational aspects of the structuring, management and servicing of both investment funds and investment funds managers. Anne-Lise has a strong focus on financial regulatory matters, including advising a wide range of regulated professionals of the Luxembourg financial sector such as investment fund managers, investment firms and financial service providers, like fund administrators and depositaries. She actively collaborates with various industry associations, notably on fund distribution and AML/CFT matters, as well as on fund-related Fintech regulations, including those relating to digital assets and fund tokenisation.
