Clifford Chance advises TotalEnergies on renewable energy natural gas joint venture

Houston: Global law firm Clifford Chance advised TotalEnergies to enter into a joint venture agreement with Vanguard Renewables for the ownership, development and operation of renewable natural gas production projects.

The joint venture, equally owned by TotalEnergies and Vanguard Renewables, will invest in facilities that will develop food biowaste into renewable natural gas in the United States.

Partners David Stringer and Alexandra Wilde led the transaction along with associates Peter Guinnane, Matthew Mouer and Hailey Hennessey.
