Alexandra focuses on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, with a focus on energy, infrastructure and industrials.

Her experience includes advising private equity and strategic investors in M&A, divestitures, minority and majority investments, joint ventures, and other corporate matters. Alex has extensive experience in the energy, infrastructure and industrials sectors, including energy transition (such as solar, wind, battery storage, biofuels, clean tech and other clean and renewable energy), traditional upstream/midstream/downstream oil and gas, transportation and logistics, manufacturing, defense, aerospace and specialty chemicals.

Energy Transition

  • TotalEnergies in its renewable natural gas (RNG) joint venture with Vanguard Renewables.
  • NOVA Infrastructure and Nopetro Energy in the creation of a new renewables platform focused on renewable natural gas (RNG) and biofuels.
  • Marathon Petroleum Corp. in the US$50 million acquisition of a 49.9% interest in LF Bioenergy, an emerging producer of renewable natural gas (RNG) in the United States, from Cresta Fund Management.
  • SER Capital Partners in the US$82 million investment in Brightcore Energy, a clean energy and efficiency as a service company serving commercial, industrial, and institutional real estate owners.
  • Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company on its debt and equity investment in Low Carbon Energy Holdings Limited, an established pan-European renewable energy developer and fund manager.
  • Southern Power in its US$1.175 billion sale of a 33% minority interest in a solar portfolio to Global Atlantic Financial Group.
     

Traditional Oil and Gas

  • Major financial services company in its approximate US$840 million transaction for purchase and financing of natural gas assets located in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
  • Major financial services company in its financing arrangement to purchase approximately US$800 million of asset-backed notes to fund acquisition of natural gas assets located in Texas.
  • Noble Midstream Partners LP in its US$155 million acquisition and exercise of an option to acquire a 20% ownership interest in Saddlehorn Pipeline Company, LLC, along with the negotiation of related crude oil commercial agreements.
  • One Equity Partners in its acquisition and related financing of Gibson Energy Inc.’s U.S. energy services business.
  • DTE Energy in its US$1.3 billion acquisition of 100% of Appalachia Gathering System and 55% of Stonewall Gas Gathering.
     

Industrials and Other

  • Arsenal Capital Partners in its platform acquisition of Seal for Life Industries for US$328 million, and subsequent add-on acquisitions.  Seal For Life served as Arsenal’s platform in the coating solutions sector focusing on the global infrastructure and industrial markets.
  • Arsenal Capital Partners in the acquisition of ATP Group, a leading Swiss based manufacturer of water-based adhesive tapes, from Bregal Unternehmerkapital.
  • Arsenal Capital Partners' portfolio company, Fenzi Holdings SPV S.p.A., in the acquisition and financing of the Advanced Glass Technologies business of Johnson Matthey PLC.
  • Major specialty chemicals provider in the negotiation of key commercial arrangements, including supply and manufacturing agreements.
  • Czechoslovak Group a.s. in its acquisition of The Kinetic Group, a spin-off of the sporting products division of the public company, Vista Outdoor Inc.
  • Trendyol in the US$700 million sale of an 85 percent controlling stake in Trendyol Go to Uber.
  • Forge Nano, Inc. in its Series D capital raise to scale U.S. battery manufacturing and commercial semiconductor equipment businesses.
  • American Bureau of Shipping in the acquisition of MetaSHIP intellectual property and vessel simulator software assets from Orka Informatics.
  • HID in its acquisition of Sewio Networks, a prominent provider of Ultra-Wideband (UWB) Real Time Location Systems (RTLS), which aimed to enhance HID’s capabilities in asset management and smart factory automation within the industrial and automotive sectors.
