Clifford Chance Amsterdam advises Vermaat on the acquisition of a majority stake in the Amsterdam based food store chain Stach
Clifford Chance Amsterdam advised Vermaat, a Dutch market leader in outsourced catering and hospitality services, on the acquisition of a majority stake in the Amsterdam based food store chain Stach. Financial terms are not being disclosed.
Stach opened its first store in 2011 and it currently has nineteen stores in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Haarlem and Overveen, with over 250 employees.
The Clifford Chance team was led by Gregory Crookes and furthermore consisted of Han Kalule, Bart van Hattum, Sophie Wijdeveld and Pascal van Zweden (Corporate), Michiel Sunderman and Stern Flik (Tax), Mark-Jan Arends, Arwin Lok and Serkan Özel (Notary), Floris van de Bult and Sanne Blankestijn (Employment).
