Clifford Chance advised the lenders in connection with the financing of a wind and PV farm portfolio belonging to Qair Polska
Clifford Chance advised a syndicate of banks composed of: Santander Bank Polska (as Facility Agent, Security Agent and Accounts Bank), BNP Paribas Bank Polska, and PKO Bank Polski in connection with the financing of a portfolio of 4 wind farm projects and 29 PV projects with a total capacity of 106 MW, belonging to Qair, an independent electricity producer. The value of the financing is PLN 479 million. This is one of the largest financings of hybrid portfolios in Poland. All of the projects covered by the transaction won RES auctions.
The Clifford Chance team responsible for aspects related to the financing included: Andrzej Stosio (Partner, Co-Head of the Banking and Finance Practice), Jared Grubb (Partner), Maksymilian Jarząbek (Senior Associate), Michał Jadwisiak (Senior Associate), Dominika Wróblewska (Associate) and Bartosz Zieliński (Associate). Kancelaria Clifford Chance doradzała konsorcjum banków w składzie: Santander Bank Polska (w roli Agenta Kredytu, Agenta Zabezpieczeń i Banku Rachunków), BNP Paribas Bank Polska i PKO Bank Polski w związku z finansowaniem portfela 4 projektów farm wiatrowych i 29 projektów farm fotowoltaicznych o łącznej mocy 106 MW, należącego do Qair, niezależnego producenta energii elektrycznej. Wartość finansowania to 479 mln PLN. Jest to jedno z największych finansowań portfeli hybrydowych w Polsce. Wszystkie objęte transakcją projekty wygrały aukcje OZE.
