Clifford Chance Amsterdam advises Avignon Capital on the acquisition of the Hilton Hotel in The Hague
Clifford Chance Amsterdam advised the European property investment and asset management firm Avignon Capital (“Avignon”) on the acquisition of a 100% stake in Holding Hotel Zeestraat Den Haag B.V. (“Holding”) from two private investors. Holding is the sole shareholder of the two companies that respectively own and operate the Hilton Hotel in the city center of The Hague. The acquisition marks the fourth Dutch based hotel in Avignon's portfolio.
Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG acted as lender.
The Clifford Chance team advised Avignon on the due diligence process, the acquisition documents, corporate structuring, tax, acquisition financing and closing preparations.
