Clifford Chance advises GreenOak on the financing of two significant real estate portfolios

A team from Clifford Chance Amsterdam and Clifford Chance Luxembourg has advised GreenOak Europe Secured Lending GP S.à r.l. on the financing of two real estate portfolios comprising of office buildings with various locations across The Netherlands.

The first portfolio, known as Bishop, has been acquired by Harbert European Real Estate Fund V, L.P. in JV with Quan Real Estate Investors while the second portfolio, known as Ruby, comprises office buildings from the Chalet Portfolio which have been acquired by Capricorn Capital Group BV and Zetland Special Situations Fund I LP.

The Bishop portfolio is comprised of twelve office buildings predominantly in the Randstad area in the Netherlands, with a total lettable floor space of ca. 69,000 square meters.

The Ruby portfolio contains eleven office buildings with a total lettable floor space of ca. 42,600 square meters, located in attractive micro-locations across The Netherlands.

The Clifford Chance team was led by Jelle Hofland and furthermore consisted of Herman Steinvoort, Victor ten Have and Joris Dortmans (Finance), Liesbeth Buiter and Lotte de Bruin (Projects/Real Estate) – all from the Amsterdam office – and Marc Mehlen, Virginie Stalder and Aubry Kocian from the Luxembourg office.
