Clifford Chance advises Cellnex on disposal of sites to Wireless Infrastructure Group
Leading international law firm Clifford Chance has advised longstanding client Cellnex Telecom on the disposal of a package of approximately 1,100 sites in the UK to Wireless Infrastructure Group.
The disposal satisfies the Final Undertakings proposed by Cellnex and CK Hutchison and was accepted by the Competition and Markets Authority in May this year. It will allow for the closing of Cellnex’s acquisition of CK Hutchison's towers business in the UK.
The Clifford Chance team was led by partners Joel Ziff (Corporate), Alex Nourry (Antitrust) and Zayed Al Jamil (TMT) and senior associate Rob Donell (Real Estate). They were assisted by counsel Chandralekha Ghosh (Corporate), senior associates Harriet Martin (Corporate) and Sam Parry (Antitrust), and associates Philippa Lawson (Corporate) and Josh Kennion (Corporate). Tax directors Julian Feiner and Simon Corzberg also worked on the deal.
