Clifford Chance advises Tikehau Capital on the acquisition financing of a data centre to be developed and operated by Westpoort Datacenter B.V.
Clifford Chance advised Tikehau Capital through its Tikehau Special Opportunities II fund (TSO II) on the financing provided to Westpoort Datacenter B.V. and Great Grey Investments Datacenter B.V. as sponsor for the financing of a 100MVA data centre to be developed and operated by Westpoort Datacenter B.V. Westpoort Datacenter will become a global landmark of a datacenter integrated in the local ecosystem. Highly energy-efficient, it aligns with Amsterdam's goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 40% in 2025. This can mainly be achieved by innovative cooling techniques and through the supply of heat to residential areas.
