Clifford Chance advises Primonial REIM on the acquisition of 20 care home-properties from EQT

Clifford Chance has advised French asset manager Primonial REIM on the acquisition of the real estate portfolio of German care home operator Charleston Holding. Primonial REIM acquires the 20 care home properties for its fund Primovie by way of an asset deal. At the same time, the seller, EQT Infrastructure II fund, sold Charleston Holding's operations to the Italian healthcare group KOS.

Headquartered in Füssen, Germany, Charleston operates in total 47 care homes with 4,050 beds, four day care centers and seven ambulatory care locations. The company generates more than EUR 160 million revenues and has around 3,400 employees.

Prior to this transaction, Clifford Chance recently advised Primonial REIM on the acquisition of twelve retirement homes in Germany.

Clifford Chance berät Primonial REIM beim Erwerb von 20 Pflegeheim-Immobilien von EQT

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat die französische Vermögensverwaltungsgesellschaft Primonial REIM beim Erwerb des Immobilien-Portfolios des deutschen Pflegeheimbetreibers Charleston Holding beraten. Primonial REIM erwirbt die 20 Pflegeheim-Immobilien im Rahmen eines Asset Deals für seinen Fonds Primovie. Zeitgleich veräußerte der Verkäufer, der Fonds EQT Infrastructure II, den Betrieb der Charleston Holding an den italienischen Gesundheitskonzern KOS.

Charleston mit Hauptsitz in Füssen betreibt insgesamt 47 Pflegeeinrichtungen mit 4.050 Betten, vier Kindertagesstätten und sieben ambulante Pflegeplätze. Das Unternehmen erwirtschaftet mehr als 160 Millionen Euro Umsatz und beschäftigt rund 3.400 Mitarbeiter.

Clifford Chance hatte Primonial REIM erst kürzlich beim Erwerb von zwölf Seniorenwohnheimen in Deutschland beraten.
