Clifford Chance has advised Partners Group on the acquisition of Megadyne and Ammeraal in combined EUR 2 billion transaction

Clifford Chance has advised global private markets investment manager, Partners Group on the acquisition of Megadyne Group ("Megadyne"), a leading manufacturer of power transmission belts, from Astorg. The transaction complementary to Partners Group's agreement to acquire Ammeraal Beltech ("Ammeraal"), a global leader in light-weight process and conveyor belting, from Advent International which the team at Clifford Chance also advised on negotiating the two in parallel. The combined enterprise value of the two transactions is EUR 2 billion.

The Clifford Chance team advising Partners Group on the two acquisitions Ammeraal and Megadyne were led by Global Head of Private Equity Jonny Myers, supported by antitrust partner Jenine Hulsmann and private equity partners Spencer Baylin and Greg Crookes and Claudio Cerabolini.
