Clifford Chance represents Exxon Mobil in the announced acquisition of production facilities and related assets from Superior Graphite

Global law firm Clifford Chance has represented Exxon Mobil Oil Company, a subsidiary of ExxonMobil Corporation (NYSE: XOM) in its agreement to acquire certain production facilities and related assets and technology from Superior Graphite, an Illinois-based graphite manufacturer. The transaction is intended to support Exxon Mobil's strategy to develop and supply synthetic graphite, a key material for lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles (EVs) and energy storage systems.
