Clifford Chance advises AXA on strategic acquisition of majority stake in Prima Assicurazioni

Global law firm Clifford Chance advised AXA on its agreement to acquire a 51% stake in Prima Assicurazioni, a leading insurance MGA in Italy, with call and put options granted over the remaining 49%. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory consents from relevant authorities.

The Clifford Chance team was led by London Insurance M&A partners Ashley Prebble and James Cashier, Senior Associate Nancy Li and Associate Beth Eyre, with Finance Partners Richard Day and Neil Cavanagh and Senior Associate Liam Dunne.
