Clifford Chance advises Reinsurance Group of America on strategic US$32 billion reinsurance transaction
Clifford Chance's M&A-Insurance team served as legal counsel to Reinsurance Group of America (RGA), a leading global life and health reinsurer, on its US$32 billion agreement with Equitable Holdings, Inc (Equitable) to reinsure a diversified block of life insurance products.
Lead partner Frank Monaco said, "we are pleased and proud to work with RGA on this significant transaction."
Frank worked alongside Elliott Schreffler, supported by Joe Cosentino, Darren Littlejohn, Jeff LeMaster, Meighan O'Reardon, Gene Benger, Andrew Des Rault, Andrew Nelson, Mariam Sleiman and Annie Arya.
Clifford Chance also represented RGA in its recent US$3.5 billion reinsurance transaction with American National Insurance Company.
