Clifford Chance advises Partners Group on sale of 24,000 sqm Grade A Tokyo office property

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance has advised leading global private markets firm Partners Group on the sale of a Grade A office building in Tama City, Tokyo to a Japanese institutional investor.

The eight-story Tama Center, built in 2002 and designed by renowned architect Kengo Kuma, has 24,000 sqm of leasable space and is located near main transportation links to central Tokyo.

Partner Leng-Fong Lai, senior counsel Eiichi Kanda and associate Takahiro Kawaguchi advised on the transaction.

Leng-Fong said, "We are delighted to advise our longstanding clients Partners Group on this transaction which represents their second direct real estate exit in Japan."

Clifford Chance previously advised Partners Group on the acquisition of Tama Center in 2021.
