Clifford Chance advises on the EUR 781m UKEF-covered financing for the Republic of Türkiye in connection with the Mersin-Adana-Osmaniye-Gaziantep High Speed Rail Project

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance assisted JP Morgan Chase Bank, BNP Paribas S.A. and ING European Financial Services PLC with the UKEF-covered financing provided to the Republic of Türkiye in connection with the Mersin-Adana-Osmaniye-Gaziantep High Speed Rail Project, which was undertaken by Türkiye's Rönesans Holding Group under an EPC+F model.

This project represents a significant milestone for Türkiye's national railway network, as it is expected to increase the share of rail for intercity transportation and enhance integration with other transportation modes.
