Clifford Chance advises Airbus Defence and Space on sale of two observation satellites to Poland
International law firm Clifford Chance advised Airbus Defence and Space SAS on the signing, together with Airbus DS Geo SA, of an agreement with the Polish Armament Agency for the sale of two observation satellites. Clifford Chance advised on both public procurement proceedings and negotiations of the agreement.
The team was led by Dr Marcin Ciemiński (Partner) and Prof. Piotr Bogdanowicz (Counsel) and included IP lawyers Krzysztof Hajdamowicz (Counsel) and Marcelina Sługocka (Lawyer) as well as Ewelina Bzducha (Senior Associate), Martyna Darczuk (Senior Associate), Monika Diehl (Senior Associate), Adrian Król (Senior Associate) and Aleksandra Mierzejewska (Junior Lawyer). Tomasz Szymura (Counsel) advised on the tax aspects of the transaction. The client was also supported by Dessi Savova (Global Relationship Partner of Airbus Group) and Alexander Kennedy (Counsel, Paris).
