Clifford Chance advises the lenders in the sustainable refinancing of the Atresmedia group

Clifford Chance is advising a banking syndicate on the refinancing and conversion to sustainable financing of the 250 million euro syndicated corporate facility to the Atresmedia group.

The syndicated financing is linked to the performane of two social indicators and one environmental indicator. CaixaBank, BBVA and Santander have acted as the financing sustainability coordinators, and CaixaBank as agent.

This is the first deal involving the sustainable financing of a Spanish communication group and one of the first in this sector in Europe.
