Clifford Chance advises GFI on the acquisition of Informática El Corte Inglés, S.A.
Clifford Chance has advised Gfi (Groupe Français d'Informatique) on the acquisition of 100% of Informática El Corte Inglés, S.A. from El Corte Inglés, S.A. The technology group resulting from the transaction will have a workforce of over 23,000 professionals and a turnover in excess of 2.3 billion euros, creating a European technology leader with a strong presence in Latin America.
The transaction is subject to the approval of the competent authorities.
The deal was led by M&A Partner Jaime Velázquez, with support from Samuel Rosas, senior associate, and Patricia Puertas, associate from the Corporate department.
