Clifford Chance advises Benson Elliot and Schroders on the acquisition of a portfolio of hotels at Disneyland Paris
A joint venture formed between Benson Elliot Real Estate Partners V and Schroder Real Estate Hotels (SREH), acting on behalf of a consortium of private investors, has acquired three hotels in Disneyland Paris with a total of 1,183 rooms. Adjacent to one another, the properties were acquired through two separate transactions, for a total investment of around €240 M.
The Dream Castle and Magic Circus 4* hotels were bought from the Austrian developers Warimpex and UBM. The Explorers Hotel was purchased from a joint venture managed by Schroders.
Clifford Chance advised the joint venture Benson Elliot / Schroders on this project with a team led by Alexandre Couturier, partner, and made up of Jitka Susankova, counsel, and Romain Boisset on tax, Karen Bortolotti, counsel, on the financing of the transaction, Mehdi Bouzekri, Nawel Belabdelouahab and Clément Silve on transactional and real estate matters, Cécile Zoro, counsel, and Emmanuel Maudet on employment matters, as well as Grégory Sroussi, counsel, and Jérémy Guilbault on the IP and data protection issues.

Une joint venture formée du fonds Benson Elliot Real Estate Partners V et de Schroder Real Estate Hotels (SREH), agissant pour le compte d'un consortium d'investisseurs privés, a acquis trois hôtels totalisant 1 183 chambres et situés à Disneyland Paris. Adjacents les uns des autres, les actifs ont été acquis en deux transactions distinctes, pour un investissement total d'environ 240 M€.
L'acquisition des hôtels 4* Dream Castle et Magic Circus a été conclue auprès des promoteurs autrichiens Warimpex et UBM. L'Hôtel Explorers a, quant à lui, été acquis auprès d'une joint venture gérée par Schroders.
