Clifford Chance advises PAI on its contemplated divestment of the B&B Hotels group to Goldman Sachs

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance advised private equity firm PAI in the context of its contemplated divestment of the B&B Hotels group to Goldman Sachs.

Through significant international expansion plans since its acquisition by PAI, the B&B Hotels group now operates a network of 486 hotels across 12 countries.

The transaction represents the fourth exit from the PAI Europe VI fund.

The relevant employee works councils of the B&B Hotels group will be consulted in respect of the transaction, and completion remains subject to customary antitrust clearances.

Clifford Chance advised PAI Partners on this transaction with a team led by Fabrice Cohen (partner) and Raphaël Durand and Alexis Mesnildrey (associates) in charge of, notably, corporate and M&A matters, of Thierry Arachtingi (partner) and Pierre-Benoit Pabot du Chatelard (counsel) on financing matters, and of David Tayar (partner) and Sara Ortoli (associate) on antitrust aspects.
