Clifford Chance advises PGGM on the first closing of the Fonds de Logement Intermédiaire 2 (FLI 2)
International law firm Clifford Chance advised the Dutch pension fund manager PGGM on the first closing of the Fonds de Logement Intermédiaire 2 (FLI 2), for which AMPERE Gestion raised more than 900 million euros. This is the largest fundraising for residential real estate in Europe in 2018.
FLI 2 brings together 15 leading institutional investors, half of which had already invested in the first FLI launched in 2014, and welcomes major international investors, including PGGM, in the round table.
This first fundraising will be followed by a second closing in 2019, which will allow FLI 2 to finance the production of more than 11,000 dwellings, mostly intermediate, in major French cities.
Clifford Chance advised PGGM with a team composed of Alexandre Couturier, partner, and David Gérard, associate, on the legal aspects, and Alexandre Lagarrigue, partner, and Romain Boisset, associate, on the tax aspects.

Le cabinet d'avocats d'affaires international Clifford Chance a conseillé le gestionnaire néerlandais de fonds de pensions PGGM sur le premier closing du Fonds de Logement Intermédiaire 2 (FLI 2), pour lequel AMPERE Gestion a levé plus de 900 millions d'euros. Il s'agit de la plus importante levée de fonds pour l’immobilier résidentiel en Europe en 2018.
Le FLI 2 regroupe 15 investisseurs institutionnels de premier plan, dont la moitié avait déjà investi dans le premier FLI lancé en 2014, et accueille dans le tour de table de grands investisseurs étrangers, dont PGGM.
Cette première levée de fonds sera suivie d’un second closing en 2019, qui permettra au FLI 2 de financer la production de plus de 11 000 logements, en majorité intermédiaires, dans les grandes villes françaises.
