Clifford Chance advised Constellium N.V. in the context of its high yield bonds issuance

The international law firm Clifford Chance advised the Constellium group, the global leader of aluminium products, in the context of its refinancing, constituting of a private offering of two high yield bonds, in Euros and US Dollars, and a revolving credit facility, for a total amount of more than EUR 700 million.

In May 2014, Constellium N.V. completed its bond issuance, benefiting from guarantees granted by certain of its subsidiaries, comprising of:

1.    EUR 300 million senior unsecured notes maturing in 2021, at a rate of 4.625% per annum; and

2.    USD 400 million senior unsecured notes maturing in 2024, at a rate of 5.75% per annum.

In parallel, Constellium has been granted an unsecured EUR 120 million revolving credit facility, bringing the total amount of the refinancing to more than EUR 700 million.

Clifford Chance advised Constellium N.V. on all French, German and Czech legal aspects in the context of this transaction.
