Clifford Chance appoints three new Asia-based partners Matthew Buchanan, Melissa Ng and Jiahua Ni to join the 86-strong partnership in the region

Hong Kong: Leading international law firm Clifford Chance has announced the election of three lawyers to the partnership for the Asia Pacific region: construction and infrastructure project finance specialist Matthew Buchanan and M&A corporate advisor Melissa Ng in the Singapore office, and banking and finance expert Jiahua Ni in the Shanghai office. They will join the 86 partners in the region effective 1 May 2013.

The firm announced a total of 20 lawyers to the partnership from the firm's 35-office global network. The new partners are drawn from offices around the firm's global network and reflect the firm's continued investment in developing sustainable depth and breadth of expertise across geographies, products and sectors. The promotions bring the total number of partners in the firm to 589.
