Building Safety Act 2022: Prioritising Safety Post-Grenfell

After almost five years since the Grenfell Tower tragedy, the Building Safety Act 2022 has been passed containing a wide range of changes to law covering building safety during design, construction and occupation, and the creation of a new regulatory framework for higher risk (residential) buildings.
The Act also makes changes to the overlapping Fire Safety Order which covers safety in workplaces and other premises. This briefing considers the key reforms made by the Act.
