New York Senate Passes "Twenty-First Century Anti-Trust Act" Aimed to Curb Big Tech

On June 7, 2021, the New York Senate passed the "Twenty-First Century Anti-Trust Act". The Act, which varies in considerable ways from the previously proposed bills, contains sweeping changes to the state's antitrust laws, which includes prohibiting certain conduct for companies with a "dominant position," requiring state-level pre-merger filings, and providing additional protections for employees in labor markets.
