Virgin Active Restructuring Plan Approved by the English Court

In a much awaited decision, on 12 May 2021, the English High Court has approved a restructuring plan for the entities in the Virgin Active Group, an international health club operator.
It is the first time that the restructuring plan process has been used to compromise landlord claims, in addition to other liabilities.
