Clifford Chance advises on reopening of US$1 billion bonds for the Republic of Ecuador
Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised BofA Securities and Citigroup, as global coordinators, joint bookrunners, and structuring agents, in connection with the Republic of Ecuador’s reopening of its US$500 million 8.750% notes due 2034 and its US$500 million 9.250% notes due 2039. The initial 2034 notes and 2039 notes were first issued in January 2026.
