Clifford Chance advises ICG on its strategic partnership with Regional & City Airports

Clifford Chance has advised global alternative asset manager ICG on its agreement to partner with Regional & City Airports (“RCA” or “the Company”), the operator of Bournemouth, Exeter and Norwich Airports and owner and operator of XLR Executive Jet Centres.

The transaction, which follows more than a decade of successful collaboration between RCA and Rigby Group, is expected to close in August.

ICG’s European Infrastructure team will support RCA’s continued growth, with the Company set to expand its airports, cargo and executive aviation operations. ICG is also focused on working with RCA to further accelerate sustainable aviation practices across its operations.

The Clifford Chance team was led by Infrastructure Private Equity Partners Thomas Fisher and Charlotte Madden, with support from Associates Megan Hodges, Eseosa Idemudia and Damilola Akinrele.
