Clifford Chance advised UScellular and Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. on sale of wireless operations and select spectrum assets to T-Mobile
Global law firm Clifford Chance advised mobile network operating company United States Cellular Corporation (UScellular) and Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. on antitrust aspects of its US$4.4 billion sale to T-Mobile which closed today. Clifford Chance also assisted UScellular with the divestiture of other spectrum assets to Verizon, AT&T, and others.
The U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division announced on July 10 that it will not seek to prevent the acquisition.
The U.S. Federal Communications Commission also approved the transaction in an order issued on July 11.
