Clifford Chance advises Woodside Energy on LNG supply agreements with Uniper

Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised Woodside Energy in its sale and purchase agreement with German multinational energy company Uniper for the supply of 1 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) from Louisiana LNG LLC, illustrating the increasing global demand for LNG.

Louisiana LNG is Woodside's largest growth project. The deal significantly enhances Woodside's portfolio, reinforcing the Louisiana LNG project's unique advantages and economic competitiveness.

The agreement is contingent upon Woodside's final investment decision regarding the three-train 16.5 Mtpa foundation development of Louisiana LNG.
