Clifford Chance advises Omnes, Bpifrance and Société Générale Capital Partenaires on the sale of their stake in UNITe, the French independent renewable energy producer and developer, to Ardian
Clifford Chance advised Omnes, Bpifrance and Société Générale Capital Partenaires on the divestment to Ardian (Clean Energy Evergreen Fund (ACEEF)), of their stake in UNITe, the French independent multi-technology renewable energy producer and developer with more than 1.5 GW of projects under development.
Omnes, Bpifrance (Fonds Impact Environment team) which invested in 2018, and Société Générale Capital Partenaires, which invested in 2010, agreed to sell their stake in UNITe to Ardian after successfully completing the objective they set themselves, in which UNITe has consolidated its position as an independent power producer and developer.
UNITe is recognised as the leading independent player in small hydro in France, with 36 power plants, and one of the most promising photovoltaic developers. Today, UNITe is one of the leading independent producers of low-carbon, local, sustainable and competitive electricity in France.
The transaction is subject to the usual regulatory approvals.

Clifford Chance a conseillé Omnes, Bpifrance et Société Générale Capital Partenaires sur la cession à Ardian, via son fonds Clean Energy Evergreen Fund (ACEEF), de leur participation dans UNITe, le producteur et développeur indépendant français d'énergie renouvelable multi-technologies avec plus de 1,5 GW de projets en développement.
Omnes, Bpifrance (Fonds Impact Environment team) qui ont investi en 2018, et Société Générale Capital Partenaires, qui a investi en 2010, ont accepté de vendre leur participation dans UNITe à Ardian après avoir atteint avec succès l'objectif qu'ils s'étaient fixé, la consolidation d’UNITe en tant que producteur et développeur d'électricité indépendant.
UNITe est reconnu comme le premier acteur indépendant de la Petite Hydroélectricité (PHE) en France, avec 36 centrales, et l'un des développeurs photovoltaïques les plus prometteurs. Aujourd'hui, il est l'un des premiers producteurs indépendants d'électricité bas carbone, locale, durable et compétitive en France.
L'opération est soumise aux autorisations réglementaires habituelles.
