Clifford Chance represented Mostostal Zabrze SA in an arbitration dispute with Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions
The international law firm Clifford Chance represented Mostostal Zabrze SA in an arbitration dispute with Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions concerning the construction of the AEGIS Ashore system base in Redzikowo, Poland. The proceedings concerned the performance and settlement as well as the consequences of rescission of the contract concluded as part of the construction of the anti-missile shield system base between Mostostal Zabrze as the contractor and Wood as the employer.
Pursuant to the award of the Court of Arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris, Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is obliged to pay to our client approximately PLN 43.3 million in total. At the same time, the Arbitration Court dismissed over 99.6% of the counterclaims of the other party.

Postępowanie dotyczyło wykonania i rozliczenia oraz skutków odstąpienia od umowy zawartej w ramach budowy bazy systemu tarczy antyrakietowej pomiędzy Mostostalem Zabrze jako wykonawcą a Wood jako zamawiającym.
Na podstawie wyroku Sądu Arbitrażowego przy Międzynarodowej Izbie Handlowej w Paryżu, firma Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions jest zobowiązana do zapłaty na rzecz naszego klienta łącznej kwoty około 43,3 mln zł. Jednocześnie, Sąd Arbitrażowy oddalił ponad 99,6% roszczeń wzajemnych drugiej strony.
