Clifford Chance advises lenders on Brookfield's £2.2 billion recommended offer for Network International
Leading international law firm Clifford Chance has advised Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank PJSC (ADCB), First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) and Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) (together "the Lenders") on Brookfield's £2.2 billion recommended offer for Network International Holdings plc (“Network International”).
Network International provides technology-enabled payments solutions to merchants and financial institutions in the Middle East and Africa. The offer values the issued share capital of Network International at approximately £2.2 billion.
The Clifford Chance team was led by partner Graham Brewer with support from counsel Jeremy Barker, senior associate Angad Chaturvedi and trainee solicitor Tanvi Pahwa in Dubai. Partner Erik O'Connor and senior associate Catherine Freeman in London provided support on corporate matters and partner Jemma Dick and lawyer Sarah Johnson in London provided support on tax matters.
