Clifford Chance advises Admiral Group on acquisition of leading online insurance intermediary Luko Cover
International law firm Clifford Chance has advised long-standing client and FTSE100-listed international financial services company Admiral Group plc on its acquisition of Luko Cover, a leading online insurance intermediary.
The Admiral Group provides insurance and loans products to over 9 million customers in the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain and the United States. This transaction will accelerate the growth of the Group’s footprint in France where its existing French business, L'olivier Assurance, already offers customers motor and home insurance. It will also expand the way it distributes insurance and the number of products it offers in France.

Die Admiral Group bietet Versicherungs- und Kreditprodukte für über neun Millionen Kunden in Großbritannien, Frankreich, Italien, Spanien und den Vereinigten Staaten an. Mit der Transaktion wird das Wachstum der Gruppe in Frankreich beschleunigt. Dort vertreibt ihr bereits bestehendes Unternehmen L'olivier Assurance Kfz- und Hausratversicherungen. Die Transaktion wird auch die Art des Versicherungsvertriebs sowie die Anzahl der in Frankreich angebotenen Versicherungsprodukte erweitern.
