Clifford Chance advises on the financing for the acquisition by Cinven of Master Builders Solutions

Clifford Chance has advised the lenders to international private equity firm Cinven in relation to the financing to support its acquisition of Master Builders Solutions from Sika AG.

Master Builders Solutions was formed through the combination of the admixtures operations of the MBCC Group in North America and Europe, and both admixtures and construction systems operations in Australia and New Zealand. Master Builders Solutions are a global leader enabling sustainable construction with innovative concrete admixtures and pioneering underground construction solutions.

Cinven’s acquisition of Master Builders Solutions builds on its significant expertise in the admixtures market and underscores Cinven’s reputation as one of the leading investors in industrial carve-outs in Europe.

The Clifford Chance team was led by partner Peter Dahlen, with support from senior associate Katherine Sinclair, associates Liam Dunne, Yana Papst and Arpan Bhatt and trainee Natalie Faktor (all London Global Financial Markets).
