Clifford Chance advises on US$500 million senior notes offering by Telefónica Móviles Chile
Leading international law firm Clifford Chance has advised BBVA, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs and Scotiabank as joint bookrunners and initial purchasers in connection with the issuance by Telefónica Móviles Chile of US$500 million aggregate principal amount of 3.537% senior notes due 2031. Telefónica Móviles Chile is one of the leading telecommunications operators in Chile, providing mobile and fixed services as well as broadband and digital television.
The Clifford Chance team was led by Capital Markets partner Hugo Triaca in New York, with support from counsel Anja Pfleger Andrade and foreign law clerk Fernando Liu in Sao Paulo, as well as foreign law clerk Jorge Bojalil in New York.
Clifford Chance advises on many landmark transactions in Latin America, most recently advising on EGE Haina's sustainability-linked notes offering, the first of its kind by a Dominican issuer. The firm also advised on the US$1.2 billion issuance by Chilean electricity transmission ISA Interchile, which was the largest green project bond in Latin America.
