The appointment of New Managing Partner for Istanbul Office

Itır Çiftçi, our Turkish association Partner, heading Corporate/M&A practice at Ciftci Attorney Partnership, has been named the new Managing Partner of our Istanbul office, effective 1 May 2021. A partner with the Firm since 2013, Itır takes over from Clifford Chance finance partner Jared Grubb who has held the role since 2016.

Before joining the Firm as Partner in 2013, Itır has worked for a leading local law firm in Istanbul as a partner. As the head of the office's corporate/M&A practice, she is experienced in M&A, private equity and joint ventures. She has acted on numerous landmark transactions in the Turkish market during her over 25 years of experience.
