Clifford Chance has assisted Neuberger Berman in the set-up of "NB Select Private Equity FCR"

Clifford Chance has assisted Neuberger Berman, one of the most prominent worldwide private equity firms, in the set-up of "NB Select Private Equity FCR".

NB Select Private Equity FCR will be managed by Abante Asesores, and is the first PE scheme advised by Neuberger Berman in Spain.

NB Select Private Equity FCR will primarily focus on co-investments, while a stake between 10% and 25% of the investment commitments is likely to be deployed in secondary transactions.

NB Select Private Equity FCR is among the very few funds in Spain that combine such an investment strategy with a broad geographical scope, mainly in North America and Europe.

Additionally, is the first PE fund in Spain that allows investment throughout omnibus accounts.

The Clifford Chance team advising on the transaction was comprised of Leonardo Fernández on incorporation of the FCR and negotiation of the agreements, with Natalia López and Cristina Armada assisting with MIFID issues.
