Clifford Chance advises Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund (EAIF) on the financing of a 30 MW solar plant in Burkina Faso
Clifford Chance advised Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund (EAIF), a member of the Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG), on the signing of the financing documents for the financing of a 30 MW solar plant in Burkina Faso developed by Urbasolar SAS and its local partner, Projet Production Solaire (PPS).
Burkina Faso has put in place a programme to attract private capital and expertise to build renewable energy capacity. The Urbasolar project is one of the first of the new green energy plants. At least another 200 MW is expected to be commissioned over the next three years.
Clifford Chance is advising lenders on an additional 4 solar projects in Burkina Faso.

Clifford Chance a conseillé Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund (EAIF), membre du Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG), dans le cadre de la signature des documents de financement pour le financement d'une centrale solaire de 30 MW au Burkina Faso. Cette dernière est développée par Urbasolar SAS et son partenaire local, Projet Production Solaire (PPS).
Le Burkina Faso a mis en place un programme afin d'attirer des capitaux privés ainsi que l'expertise nécessaire pour renforcer ses capacités en énergie renouvelable. Le projet Urbasolar fait partie des premières nouvelles centrales à énergie verte. Au moins 200 MW supplémentaires devraient être mis en service au cours des trois prochaines années.
Clifford Chance conseille également les prêteurs sur 4 autres projets solaires au Burkina Faso.
