Clifford Chance adds funds regulatory partner Paul Ellison to its leading global Funds and Investment Management team

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance today announced that Paul Ellison will be joining the firm in May 2021 as a funds-focused financial regulatory partner, based in London.

Paul joins from Macfarlanes, where he was a financial regulatory partner advising on a wide range of matters including the regulation of private equity funds, fund structuring, and the regulatory aspects of corporate transactions. A member of the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association's regulatory committee, Paul brings additional financial investor focused expertise to the firm's team in London.

Paul's appointment reflects the firm's continued investment in its global Funds and Investment Management sector team, which has over 400 lawyers globally and dedicated teams in all major financial centres. The firm's integrated team acts on a range of leading global transactions, representing a diverse range of institutional and niche fund managers across all asset classes, including private equity, real estate, infrastructure and credit funds, and secondary transactions.
