Clifford Chance advises the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on the financing granted to the city of Wałbrzych
Clifford Chance advised the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in connection with the granting of financing to the city of Wałbrzych under two loan agreements. As the second city in Poland, Wałbrzych will become a participant in the EBRD "Green Cities" programme, intended to promote the sustainable development of cities by supporting investments in such areas as clean urban transport, waste management, energy and thermal upgrading. The financing will be used for the construction of the Wałbrzych road bypass and to finance the thermo-modernisation and related retrofitting of municipally-owned residential buildings.

Kancelaria Clifford Chance doradzała Europejskiemu Bankowi Odbudowy i Rozwoju w związku z udzieleniem miastu Wałbrzych finansowania na podstawie dwóch umów pożyczek. Wałbrzych jako drugie miasto w Polsce zostanie uczestnikiem programu EBOiR "Zielone Miasta", którego celem jest zrównoważony rozwój miast poprzez wsparcie inwestycji w takich obszarach, jak ekologiczny transport miejski, gospodarka odpadami, energetyka i termomodernizacja. Środki pozyskane dzięki finansowaniu zostaną przeznaczone na budowę obwodnicy Wałbrzycha oraz termomodernizację i renowację budynków mieszkalnych należących do miasta.
