Clifford Chance advises on the sale of the headquarter building of J&T Banka

Clifford Chance Real Estate team advised Gramexo on the sale of the office building in Prague's Karlín district to J&T Banka, which is headquartered in the building since September 2020. The bank bought the property from Gramexo, which is part of companies related to the J&T group. The value of over CZK 2.1 billion made this one of the largest Real Estate office transaction of 2020 in the Czech Republic.

The eight-storey building has 30,000 square meters of gross floor area and currently accommodates 750 people. The costs for the construction and equipment of the building are estimated at CZK 1.2 billion. Part of the office building is a spacious workcafé designed for informal meetings, fitness room or a bicycle-storage facilities. There is also a car wash in the underground garages and thirty chargers are available for electric car drivers.
