Clifford Chance advised Goldman Sachs on the launch of SIGMA X Europe MTF™ in Paris
Clifford Chance advised Goldman Sachs on the launch, on 21st December 2020, of a new trading venue in Paris which is the multilateral trading facility called SIGMA X Europe MTF™. The platform, which is now available alongside its UK-based sister, SIGMA X MTF™, will provide Goldman Sachs' clients within the European Union with a solution to their execution and liquidity needs post-Brexit.
SIGMA X Europe MTF™ will list equity and equity-like instruments in companies across 16 European markets (while the U.K.-based SIGMA X MTF™ will continue listing both U.K. and EU stocks).
Clifford Chance advised Goldman Sachs on this transaction with a team consisting in Paris of Frédérick Lacroix, partner, Hélène Kouyaté, counsel, and Irina Rambeloson, associate. The London office also advised on the UK aspects of this deal, with a team consisting of Caroline Dawson, partner, and Lisa Fogarty, associate.

Clifford Chance a conseillé Goldman Sachs dans le cadre du lancement, le 21 décembre 2020, d'une nouvelle plateforme de négociation à Paris : le système multilatéral de négociation baptisé SIGMA X Europe MTF™. Ce dernier, qui fonctionne désormais en complément de la plateforme SIGMA X MTF™, basée au Royaume-Uni, fournira aux clients de Goldman Sachs au sein de l'Union européenne une solution à leurs besoins d'exécution et de liquidité à la suite du Brexit.
SIGMA X Europe MTF™ admettra des actions et instruments de négociation assimilés au travers de 16 marchés européens (tandis que SIGMA X MTF™, basée au Royaume-Uni, continuera à couvrir aussi bien les actions britanniques qu'européennes).
Clifford Chance a conseillé Goldman Sachs sur cette opération avec une équipe composée à Paris de Frédérick Lacroix, associé, Hélène Kouyaté, counsel, et Irina Rambeloson, avocate.
