Clifford Chance advised the owners of Technistone on the sale of the company to Wilsonart Engineered Surfaces.

Czech based company Technistone is a leading manufacturer of quartz stone which exports to more than 75 countries worldwide on five continents. Technistone is globally recognized for high-quality and premium products and is considered a market leader in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Russia, mainly due to its own branch network.

The US-based buyer Wilsonart Engineered Surfaces is a world-leading engineered surfaces company which manufactures and distributes a broad range of surface options for use in both commercial and residential markets. Technistone is an important addition to its portfolio of brands and products.

The Clifford Chance team was lead by M&A Counsel Michal Jašek who was primarily assisted by Associate Ludvík Růžička.
